algorithm: communication non grata.

Avoid meeting. (esp. meeting accidentally) If that's not feasible: Avoid greeting. If that's not feasible: Avoid talking. If that's not feasible: Avoid topics that are remotely personal at all cost If either of the agents fails at 4, the other pretends it did not happen and goes back to 1 ASAP.

Boundary Conditions: No eye-contact. Pretend you have a life.

Task: Give a supplementory algorithm that minimizes the number of violations the above algorithm produces. You may assume that agents do not fail at 4, but you should specify boundary conditions for this case.

Extra credit is awarded for elegant ways to deal with the other agent's deliberate violation of 4.
